From Urbana, IL, American Football offered up their debut single as the first release of Polyvinyl's inaugural CD single series. While the series would be short-lived, American Football deservedly became one of Polyvinyl's most cherished bands. Featuring the guitar and vocal talents of Mike Kinsella (Cap'n Jazz, Joan Of Arc, Owen) as well as the impeccably timed, jazz-like drumming of Steve Lamos, American Football created the kind of songs that held new discoveries upon each listen. 12"ep includes free album download.
