Returns Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. All returns are subject to a 10% restock fee.

To be eligible for a return the record must still be sealed. If the record arrives unsealed, as is sometimes the case when the distro does not shrink wrap, we will happily accept a refund if the record is warped or scratched (with video proof). 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@devildogdistro.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Issues affecting sound quality or playback including:

  • Scratches or scuffs that cause your needle to skip
  • Excessive noise, whooshes, or pops
  • Significant warpage
  • Locked grooves that prevent the needle from advancing beyond a certain point

We prioritize these issues and will send replacements when necessary (and while stock is available).

Some of these things are normal and are not considered to be damaged. If you are ever unsure, please email us and we’ll help determine what’s normal and what’s not.

Cosmetic issues including:

  • Seam splits (on the jackets or internal sleeves)
  • Dinged or bent corners
  • Miscellaneous print defects and other imperfections

While a bummer to get things with minor cosmetic damages, we generally do not send full replacements for these types of issues (unless it is severe).

Cancellation of order
We will cancel your order if requested before it has shipped, subject to a 10% restock fee.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Unfortunately, splits in the seam from shipping are becoming more and more common as sleeve quality drops and more items are being shipped. If you receive an item with a seam split and you no longer want it, please do not remove it from the shrink and return the item. If the record has been removed from shrink it is no longer returnable. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
All sales are final for used records and clearance items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method, subject to the 10% restock fee. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
