LP - Blue w/ Pink, Yellow & Brown Splatter

Atlanta, GA emo/indie-punk trio Michael Cera Palin have revealed, after a decade of making music together, their debut album We Could Be Brave is set for release on 7th March via their new labels Big Scary Monsters (UK) and Brain Synthesizer (US, UK Store coming soon to Devil Dog).
The announcement comes alongside new single Wisteria, which draws on their midwest emo roots while balancing lyrics that are a snapshot of toiling heartbreak in the throes of mental illness with fist-in-the-air major-key mosh riffs. It’s a warm yet oddly comforting song, exploding with fervent guitars that close out in what feels like a riotous catharsis at its climax.
“Wisteria is my first proper breakup song,” says vocalist Elliott Brabant. “No personal scores to settle, but rather a big emotional mess to parse and ultimately reconcile. Romantic love can be difficult to accept in the throes of mental illness, and watching someone you love worry themselves sick over you can create its own vicious cycle. This song is about how thankful I am for the love that I've held, the struggle I've faced in trying (often failing) to express that, and the pain of realizing that my path forward needed to be found on my own.”
