“Madness Malformed” is a glowing representation of contemporary
death metal at its most aggressive. Including themes from 80's horror,
90's composition, and modern day production, the LP features 8
brand new tracks, and a re-recording of the 2023 single “Cryptic
Nightmare.” Drums that pull no punches paired with unforgiving guitar
and bass performances deliver 30 intense minutes of the
hardcore/death metal hybrid that Recidivist has mastered. With vocal
diversity in mind, select cuts include prominent Salt Lake City tattooer
Chuck Paletta, as well as Spinebreaker’s Alex Herrera.
